Ms Gertrude Stein from A Moveable Feast

The Lost Generation is one of most things that Ms Stein colaborated with; but in this time I am just going to explain her influence in this generation.
The simple way to say how she, indeed influence in that generation is by, inspiring. Inspiring authors such as Ernest Hemmingawys, Scott Fitzgerald and William C. Williams with her "Avant-Gardiste" writting and them (the authors) reading them. Inspire them to write how they did and charactarize the unique writting of the LOST GENERATION of the 1920´s.

To compare the way of being of Gertrude by means of Ernets Hemmingway and the Historical means....

Hemmingway describes her as a Rich, powerfull and socialy talking important Woman of the time, phisically talking she would be as Hemmingway said "a big, some how like an italian peasant, but still a pretty woman".

Historically we know that she was, indeed powerfull and rich, but we may add as readers and researchers that she was a woman that fought for what she proposed and thinked and said. Also, she was very, very center in the idea of accepting homosexuality, special in women. why? because as we may cite from the book "A Moveable Feast" she said once.

" The main thing is
that the act male homosexuals commit is ugly and
repugnant and afterwards they are disgusted with
themselves. They drink and take drugs, to palliate
this, but they are disgusted with the act and they are
always changing partners and cannot be really happy."

"In women it is the opposite. They do nothing that they
are disgusted by and nothing that is repulsive and
afterwards they are happy and they can lead happy
lives together"
